We had eight attendees. All on Zoom.

The Ashburn 2M repeater is still malfunctioning. Sending out a solid tune.

Hi,

We had 7 attendees. No one on the 2M repeater.

The repeater was apparently not working. There was a high pitched tone on the repeater that was continuous. We tried talking on the repeater and it did not work. There was also no station ID coming through.

Hi,

We had an excellent in-person meeting. Twelve attendees. All were in-person.

Steve, KS1G, gave a presentation on making satellite contacts. I enjoyed it. I think this means I will have to try to make one. The presentation is at:

I made a few notes on the bottom of a piece of paper during the meeting, but I cannot read them. Maybe the jokes are coming too fast and I cannot write fast any more.

Hi,

It is time for our monthly meeting. The past month went by very fast.

Refreshments: Need volunteer.

Stephen, KS1G, will give a presentation on "Your First FM Satellite Contact!" Steve is an entertaining speaker. Has extensive experience working satellites. Even participated in one of our past Virginia QSO Parties as a Bicycle Mobile. Even though I have licensed for over 20 years, I have not made a satellite QSO. I am looking forward to this.

We can also talk about:

Nomination of Officers for next year. It is time for some more members to step forward to lead us into the future.

Start planning for Field Day. We will be setting up at the Sheriff Station. I will be there at 6:15 to start thinking about where to site antennas.
